From the same creator of the treasure hunt in Treasure Hunt Treehouse, is a self guided escape room style treasure hunt inside your castle. Its fun and takes team work to solve. It usually takes about 2 to 3 hours to complete. Winners receive a prize too.

Booth Western Art Museum

18 miles away from your castle, the Booth Western Art Museum, an Affiliate to the Smithsonian Institution, is a 120,000 square foot museum located in Cartersville, Georgia, where guests are invited to See America's Story through contemporary Western artwork, a Presidential Gallery, Civil War art gallery, and Sagebrush Ranch, an interactive children's gallery. Open since August 2003, Booth Museum is the only museum of its kind in the Southeast and is the second largest art museum in the state of Georgia.

River Ratz Kayaking & Tube rentals

River Ratz in Rome, GA provided Kayak and Tube rentals and a free shuttle. I've been kayaking on the etowah river and it was really relaxing and fun. Their services are seasonal however, so make sure to call ahead of time and make sure they're open for business.

Largest College Campus in the world

Did you knoew that Berry College is the largest college campus in the world? It has over 27,000 acres. Noteworthy sites and attractions on the campus include one of the largest wooden overshot water wheels in the world, miles of trails for biking and hiking, museums, and historic chapels. A number of movies have been filmed on the Berry College campus, such as “Remember the Titans” and “Sweet Home Alabama.” The grounds are open to the public during daylight hours every day

Want to feed wild animals from your car? Try Pettite Creek farms Zoo. They have Zebras, Girrafes, emus, camels, and even reindeer at Christmas time. A very cool place to check out. The tours are seasonal though (Jan through August), so call ahead.
